What the Apple India revenue figures show

Apple India Private Limited sells and markets Apple products and software in the country. Profit grew about twice as fast as revenue, so margins widened: net profit came to roughly 5.1% of revenue, against about 4% a year earlier on the reported growth rates.

What they leave out

Annual company filings arrive months after the year ends and give only totals. As with any retailer's results, the useful questions are what drove the growth: phone volumes, pricing, Apple's own stores or partner retail. The figures shared so far do not answer them.
